Race Director University offers a 3-Day Seminar in Naperville, IL

(NAPERVILLE, IL. November 1, 2018) – Race Director University, The First National Certification Program for Race Directors offers a Beginners, Intermediate and Advance Certification Program for Event Producers, Event Managers, and Race Directors.
The goal of Race Director University is to elevate the running industry’s core of race directors, newly hired staff and assigned to manage a fundraising project. “A variety of individuals included experienced runners you begin to organize and promote events often self-identify as a race director. In order to appropriately establish yourself as a race director or event producer, an individual should go through a formal process of training,” said Gregory Evans, President, and CEO of Race Director University.
“The Level I program was first released in the spring of 2012, since then we have added Level II & III. Level III is the most advanced program, and it includes an array of topics from the power of merchandising your event, 24/7/365 to the leap in race management in 2025,” said Evans.
The benefit to become certified outweighs the risk to be challenged spending money and years in litigation regarding a wrong decision that you made, a major mishap or worst yet, death at your event due to a lack of your volunteer supervision or training, missing signage or equipment, or some other catastrophic incident that could have been prevented, period.
This certification is geared toward advancing the race directors’ skills, understanding liability, insurance, public health, communication, signage, diversity, ethics, supervision, surveillance, merchandising and general legal concepts on method and strategy.
“The three certification levels are offered separately and can include the online course materials for a discounted fee. I make sense to provide the entire program in a three-day sequence; however, if some individuals cannot attend all three days, they can signup for any of the online programs and have a year to complete the program,” Evans said.
RDU Level I Program – November 29th, RDU Level II Program – November 30, and RDU Level III  Program– December 1, 2018.  The registration fee for each certification program is $150, without the online course materials. Add the online course material for $79, a savings of $80. The registration fee for all three days, which includes the online content for all programs is only $599.00, a savings of $328.00.  The seminar will be held at the Chicago Marriott Naperville, 1801 N. Naper Blvd., Naperville, IL. 60563
